Madeline Peet

Madeline PeetI never grew out of daydreaming, and I think that habit alongside a deep love for the English language is the main reason for my writing. I began writing dark fantasy after having spent most of my childhood reading Tolkein and Stephen King but have recently become more interested in mental health and the stigma it has carried throughout history. I prefer writing short stories, revelling in twist endings but I have recently been pushing myself towards writing a novel. I always have a notebook and pen on me and can usually be found scribbling down ideas inspired from everyday life. I hope to continue my studies with a PhD in creative writing and classics, and to always keep daydreaming ideas.
